Whether you're visiting for a weekend or a month, bringing the whole family, looking for a personal getaway, or you are relocating to the beautiful central coast, we manage properties for every scenario all across San Luis Obispo county. All of our rental properties are smoke-free and pets are considered in some cases (check individual listings below).
If you're visiting for about a week or up to a month, vacation homes are a great alternative to hotels and offer weekly and monthly rates. (For just a night or two, a hotel might still be your best option.) For all vacation rental stays under a month, there is a 12% county occupancy tax plus a non-refundable cleaning fee (cleaning rates will vary by property type). No application form is required. Some vacation homes are also available as short-term rentals. A $500 deposit holds a reservation.
Want to stay a little longer? Short-term properties represent homes that are available with a monthly rental minimum. If you stay for a month or more, you are not charged occupancy tax and an application is not required. Some fees may apply. Utilities are usually included, but this will vary by property. This is a great option if you are looking to stay for a season or want to take advantage of a temporary home-away-from-home. A $500 deposit holds a reservation.
Long-term rentals are ideal for someone looking to lease a home for six months to a year, or more. These are not charged tax, but additional fees can apply. A $30 rental application fee applies to every adult renter and includes a background, employment, and credit check. Most often, you'll also cover your own utilities.
